Kitchen/Dining Area Project
Food, and the experience of eating, is one of the most memorable parts of childhood. Remember you grandmother’s matzo balls or your mother’s perfect meatballs? Well, many of the Camp Sussex campers only experience these types of meals while at camp. This is why we must ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are at their best. Although vast improvements were made to the kitchen for the 2005 summer, there are still many projects that are in need of help. We need to repaint the building, increase lighting and install working fans to ensure more air circulation. All of these small changes will greatly enhance the dining area. In order to allow for better entertainment in the building, we are looking to replace the existing piano with a better, more usable model. .
