Programming:
We want t be able to offer a well-rounded program that is comprised of a variety of new choice activities including, Arts and Crafts, Athletics, Ceramics, Computers, Performing Arts, Pioneering, and Waterfront. During the choice activity children will have the pportunity to choose what they would like to do. Each activity has a Specialty Head who is educated in that specific field. These additions and changes to the programming are just the beginning. Please see how you can be involved in our campaign to fully implement these programs for the children.

Arts and Crafts
We are looking toward the children to take part in creating their very own Camp Sussex Picture Album, included in the arts and crafts program. This will allow children to bring home their wonderful memories of their time at Camp Sussex. We need the below supplies for the children to have the ability to show their creativeness through arts and crafts:

Athletics
We are looking to enhance our athletic activities and add different programs to enrich the children with different sport opportunities. Among the new programs are weight lifting, gymnastics, tennis, and flag football. We are also looking to include the activities such as our inter-camp games competition, softball, basketball, and volleyball games for all age groups and staff and at the end of each session we will give out a trophy for the best overall athlete and the best player in every sport.

This summer we are looking forward to the kiln working and having the ability to implement many new projects for the children to use their creativity.

Computer Room Program
Children will have the chance to learn the computer plus their programs such as Microsoft word, task office as well as Video Professor and EYEQ. They will have the ability to have fun with learning the technology and also have fun with creating post cards and ther activities to send home to their loved ones. We need donations for:

- 10 computers
- 10 printers
- Different programs/games needed to make this happen for the children.
- 30 reams of paper

Performing Arts Program
We are looking to turn out 3 musical plays and 3 dance programs as well as talent shows, skit nights, staff talent shows, singing nights, and our very wn Sussex Idol that will be an on going event throughout the summer with the finals on the last night of camp.
To enhance the diversity in all different cultural and ethnic groups, we need a variety of musical scripts for the children. The tentative list for productions is as follows. (can be reused for all different types of shows):

- Tap dance shoes (any size that may fit girls or boys feet)
- 1-3 Nun outfits...if not the entire then the head piece.
- Clothing racks (for set)
- 15-20 colorful T-shirts (all sizes in vibrant colors of blue, red, orange, purple, etc)
- Variety of old clothes (all styles). (Checkered jackets, skirts, pants,etc)
- Canes and top hats (for dance numbers)
- Pair of roller skates (not roller blades)
- Red curly wig and red dress (for Annie scene)

- 15-20 torn rags
- 15-20 head scarves
- 15-20 Extra Large Pillowcases
- 6-10 Large Size Wooden Blocks to use for sitting/set (must be sturdy enough to stand on)
- 2 Body Length Mirror (Self Standing ideal)

- Boxes of bobby pins & safety pins
- Masking Tape & Duct Tape
- Glow tape for marking the set.
- Cardboard Boxes of All Sizes...the larger the better. (To create the set)
- 2 Portable CD Players for rehearsals

Pioneering
A new and exciting adventure for the children is going to be implemented this summer. We have arranged for a new ropes and obstacle course on the upper campsite ready for the start of camp. We are also looking to instill into this program outdoor cooking, overnights, hiking, backpacking, and camp crafts to fully complete this program.
To complete this project and have enough funding to implement it we need another $10,000. Please help make these important activities come true.

Waterfront
For this program we are looking to give many opportunities to campers to canoe, swim, fish, and boat in the newly cleaned lake. Staff will also learn life guard training to ensure the safety of the children. We need: 100 life jackets, 20 Canoe paddles, 100 bogie boards, bounce houses or slide 30 inter tubes.
