New Program Director
I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you. My name is Dee Lacagnina. I am the new Program Director for Camp Sussex. I want to update you on our new and exciting 2005 Camp Sussex Program and how I will devote myself to making Camp Sussex’s programs the best ever! |
I will work with the Camp director to develop the schedule and implement the daily and nightly program for all campers and staff. I will assure there is a written curriculum of activities for each period that is followed and that all activities are fully supplied with equipment and direct all necessary repairs in consultation with the camp director. I will work with the Turn 2 Coordinator to maximize the efficiency of their program and to schedule and implement all non-baseball activities.

- I will supervise all specialty staff daily to assure efficient operation of the programs. I will meet with the specialty heads individually or as a group as often as necessary but at least 3 times a week.
- I will expand the nightly program for the staff and work with the staff to develop leadership and training programs.
- I will evaluate the performance of specific programs and the staff and make a full evaluation of each activity at the end of the summer for continuous improvement.
- I will also be responsible for creating the program for the August 6th Alumni Day that will involve campers, staff, and visitors.

I would like to schedule times when you can come to camp and be put in our daily schedule, offering your time with workshops and other events. All efforts and support will be greatly appreciated.
